Junkers Ju87B-1 Stuka, Airfix 1/48 (kit no. A07114)

This kit of the Ju 87B-1 (initial production version) is a new 1/48th scale tooling from Airfix (2017 release) and an extremely accurate representation of an early war Stuka.

Messerschmitt Bf109G-6, Eduard 1/48 (2016 re-tooled kit No.82111)

Less than two years after the long internet saga of the Eduard’s initial (2014) release (kit no.8268 was found to be in fact a bit oversized, with dimension errors in some parts, like wingspan 8mm longer that it should be and fuselage few milimetres too long as well), Eduard created a new tool, eradicated the flaws and made a completely new kit available (new catalog number 82111), which is definitely correct, and full of details – in fact the best Bf109G in this scale! Added to this, the fit is perfect, and the decals thin and nicely printed.

Mikoyan MiG-31BM/BSM Foxhound, AMK (AvantGarde Model Kits) 1/48

MiG-31BM/BSM is AMK’s newest release, awaited by modelers all over the world with anticipation. Thankfully it is a great kit, among the best in 1/48th scale, with lots of details, almost perfect fit and, as advertised by the company, it is really easy to build! Most parts almost snap together and stay in place even without glue! Currently, this is the best MiG-31 kit in any scale, and especially in 1/48 where there was only a resin kit by Collect-Aire. AMK is about to release and a new kit of the MiG-31B/BS version later.
