Each title covers the history and timelines, detail of the protagonists, period photographs and superb colour artwork from Richard J. Caruana. Richard Franks describes all main events of the Battle in chronological order, split into four phases, from July to October 1940 (the first 20 pages of the book, with many original b/w photographs).
Libor Jekl's 1/72 scale builts are very detailed, with many step-by-step photos and explanatory text (16 pages for Airfix Defiant & Hurricane Mk1 kits).
Steve Evans' 1/48 scale Eduard Bf110C built is straightforward and very easy to follow, but Revell 1/32 scale Spitfire IIa, Trumpeter 1/32 Bf109E-3 & Special Hobby 1/32 Fiat G.50 are much more elaborate, with many painting tips & techiques.
As always Richard Caruana's colour profiles are very helpful and offer many ideas for different schemes.
Modelling section includes a page as a colour reference guide with a chart for all the major shades relating to RAF, Luftwaffe and Regia Aeronautica operations during BoB.
