Fw190 Airframe & Miniature No.3 & 7 Updated/Expanded 2nd Edition, 2019, Valiant Wings

Valiant Wings Publishing’s new titles in the popular “Airframe & Miniature” series are two updated, revised and expanded editions of: «The Focke-Wulf Fw190 Radial-engine Versions (including Fw 190A, B, C, F, G & S) – A Complete Guide To The Luftwaffe’s Butcher Bird» (A&M No.7) and «The Fw190D & Ta152» (A&M No.3), both written by Richard A. Franks.

Both books have been out of print for a few years (since 2014 & 2012 respectively). With new Fw190 kits now available in 1/72nd, 1/48th and 1/32nd  scales, plus a mass of associated accessories and decals, it seemed right to see these books available once again.

In addition to the original contents they contain:

Full assessments of all the new kit releases since the titles’ first releases

Builds of the new-tooled Fw190A-2 from Eduard and Ta152H-1 Zoukei-Mura kit, both in 1/48th scale, by Steve A. Evans

Updated kit, accessory and decal appendices

Each book has now 16 more pages than the first edition (A&M No.7: 240 pages and A&M No.3: 176 pages)

A real bonus for the modeller are two sets of fold-out 1/48th scale plans included in both books.
